• The restoration project combined modern performance with a deep respect for the pool’s original character and architectural setting. Enclosed within a striking curved-glass pool house, the 3-metre-deep existing pool shell was upgraded to meet current standards of functionality and efficiency, while carefully preserving its unique features.

Work included the installation of a new flow and return network, full surface re-rendering, and application of a high-performance ecoFINISH polymer coating for long-term durability and a refined appearance. To support exercise and relaxation, an EVAstream counter-current unit was added, discreetly concealed beneath the stone grotto.

Due to restricted access, the grotto’s restoration and spa installation required precise coordination. The bespoke GMT spa was delivered in three separate sections and meticulously assembled within the confined space inside the grotto. Surrounded by rugged natural stone, the spa is tiled in Ezarri’s mosiac matte Travertino, selected for its subtle texture and timeless look that blends seamlessly with the environment.

To maintain air and water quality, a custom Heatstar air management system was integrated alongside the advanced Daisy filtration system, ensuring crystal-clear water with ultra-low chlorine levels. Together, these systems support an efficient, comfortable, and low-maintenance pool environment.

A notable design decision was to retain the original control panel. Though no longer functional, it remains in place as a historical feature—offering a glimpse into the pool’s past and contributing to the character and charm of the pool house.
